Fish Camp is a great way for freshmen to meet fellow Aggies in a fun and supportive environment. Below are some activities a freshmen can expect to participate in while at Fish Camp:
Discussion Groups (DGs) are constructed for each attendee to spend time with 6-10 other freshmen and their two assigned DG Counselors.
Camp Times provide opportunities for attendees to participate in activities, watch skits, and connect to large-group discussions about topics related to being members of the Texas A&M campus community.
Tradition Presentations teach our Aggie traditions to incoming freshmen in collaboration with student organizations such as Class Council and the Yell Leaders.
Teambuilding and Free Time Activities are designed with the intent for attendees to meet peers through structured and unstructured programs.
Campus Resource Presentations include a variety of campus resources and partners who provide support services to our Aggie student community.
Meals and Lodging are provided for each participant throughout the Fish Camp experience.
