What is a Fish Camp Namesake?
Fish Camp is divided into multiple sessions and camps. Each camp is named after someone who has contributed to Texas A&M in a positive way. Fish Camp receives several hundred nominations for potential Namesakes every year. Being selected as a Fish Camp Namesake is considered an honor because Namesakes have the opportunity to interact with and impact 2 chairpersons, 24 counselors, and around 150 freshmen in their camp.

Namesake nominations are now closed for Fish Camp 2024!
Namesake Nomination Applications for the following year typically open up around early October and close early November. When the application opens, we will have more details on this page and our social media.
