Fish Camp is a great way for freshmen to meet fellow Aggies in a fun and supportive environment. Below are some activities a freshmen can expect to participate in while at Fish Camp:
- Discussion Groups (DGs) are constructed for each attendee to spend time with 6-10 other freshmen and their two assigned DG Counselors.
- Camp Times provide opportunities for attendees to participate in activities, watch skits, and connect to large-group discussions about topics related to being members of the Texas A&M campus community.
- Tradition Presentations teach our Aggie traditions to incoming freshmen in collaboration with student organizations such as Class Council and the Yell Leaders.
- Teambuilding and Free Time Activities are designed with the intent for attendees to meet peers through structured and unstructured programs.
- Campus Resource Presentations include a variety of campus resources and partners who provide support services to our Aggie student community.
- Meals and Lodging are provided for each participant throughout the Fish Camp experience.
